What's Happening With North Korea?

Foreign Relations: North Korea

The last couple years have been eventful ones for Asian nations. Russia is consistently accused of meddling at the 2016 U.S. Presidential Election. And the roller coaster of anxiety betweenthe United States and North Korea has been a ride that's been at times scary and also at other times full of hope.

The world political arena appears to be dramatic with Trump at the helm of the U.S. government. But overall things are quiet, ISIS is being crushed and there's absolutely no war to discuss about it. Besides strain involving the U.S. and North Korea, the international political landscape has sounded like a field of crickets. Crickets is much far better than ticks which spread lyme disease.

Can They Finally Meet? The Summit Meeting

Apparently There's a monumental meeting between the United States and North Korea. In his correspondence into the dictator of this hermit kingdom, Trump cited recent aggressive comments by Kim Jong-Un as the main reason for cancelling the historical meeting. Even though it may be back on again. Who wouldn't desire to make use of a cell phone spy on that meeting. Many people were certainly hoping that tensions between the USA and North Korea would still continue to diminish. We'll have to see.

Peace Between North And South

In April, the two parts of Korea made some lofty goals: no more nuclear weapons and also a last serenity to put a stop to hostility between both states. Hopefully Trump's cancellation of his trip to the summit in Singapore doesn't worsen the relationship between North and South Korea. Things have been improving so much lately and it seemed that Trump's tactics with the North Korean dictator were still working. The meeting between Trump and Kim may possibly occur weekly.

Trump's Twitter

One of those flaws of Trump's political career was his insistence on begging not-so-nice things just about most of the time. When it feels like the U.S. President has learned his lesson, he still seems to post another insensitive tweet. Social media is a great tool for politicians to communicate with the people they are leading. So hopefully Trump settles down and uses his Twitter account to inform the general public as opposed to insult others.

America And South Korea MeetingThe Future Of The Korean Peninsula

Undoubtedly Appears to Be advancing over the Korean Peninsula. Those that are wondering what is going to happen in the future are not alone. In case Trump plays his cards right and is sensitive to the wants of their Korean dictator, matters will continue to improve. If the two leaders' egos continue to influence their conversation and decision-making, this roller coaster might last to be filled with ups and downs. One thing I am thankful for is that the dearth of missiles going to and from North Korea.
